threaded NEEDLE VALVE BODY, by virtually eliminating needle valve adjustments!
((3)) No fuel measuring is required when filling the tank to avoid over pressurizing the tank! (DUAL-LINESTM eliminate over pressurizing tank/ flooding engine).
((4)) REPLACEABLE PLUG-IN™ FEED-LINE: clear vinyl for highest fuel visibility and snuggest fit on the carburetor's fuel nipple.
3. METAL TANK There are small metal tanks commercially available that are suitable for the MICRO-FLITE®/COX® TD .010 "R/C" ENGINE. However, they are not clunk tanks and are therefore very limited for aerobatics flight.
4. CLUNK TANK No commercial clunk tanks are available that are small and light enough for the MICRO-FLITE®/COX® TD .010 "R/C" ENGINE. Even if one were commercially produced that is smaller and lighter, there would be air in the tank that could cause fuel foaming from engine vibration and/or fuel starvation, if the clunk gets "hung-up", which is often the case with very small clunk tanks.
*FUEL LINE MICRO-FLITE® recommends small clear vinyl fuel line similar to what COX supplies with the stock COX TEE DEE .010 ENGINE. This fuel line stays on the nipple of the needle valve body much better than does silicone fuel line. It is also easier to see if fuel is up to the needle valve body with the very clear vinyl fuel line.
*FUEL FILTER The carburetor jets on the MICRO-FLITE®/COX® TD .010 "R/C" ENGINE are very small and, therefore, can be plugged up by the tiniest of particles. For this reason, all fuel should be filtered before it enters the fuel tank and/or IN-LINE before it reaches the carburetor. MICRO-FLITE® is planning to market an in-line MICRO-LITETM FUEL FILTER for the .010 "R/C" ENGINE. The MICRO-LITETM FUEL FILTER will be considerably smaller and lighter than the size and weight of other commercial in-line fuel filters.
